California Sandwiches

I led the UI/UX design of an integrated ordering ecosystem for California Sandwiches spanning a mobile app, point-of-sale interface, and in-store self-serve kiosk, working closely with a team of developers to bring the product to life.

I designed clear, consistent interfaces across each touchpoint, defining layouts, navigation patterns, and interaction states that translated seamlessly between mobile, kiosk, and POS environments. The mobile app allowed customers to browse the menu, order ahead, and receive real-time pickup notifications, while the in-store kiosk streamlined walk-in ordering reducing counter congestion and improving speed of service during peak hours.

I focused on building intuitive user flows for both customers and staff, creating reusable components, structured file systems, and detailed handoff documentation to support efficient development and ongoing updates.

Following launch, the system was templated and reskinned to support additional restaurant brands, evolving into a scalable platform that could be quickly adapted and deployed across the network.
