California Sandwiches

I designed and created an integrated ordering ecosystem for California Sandwiches, including a mobile app, point-of-sale interface, and in-store self-serve kiosk. The goal was to modernize the customer experience and streamline restaurant operations. The mobile app allows customers to browse the menu, place orders ahead of time, and receive real-time notifications when their meals are ready for pickup—helping reduce wait times and keep service running smoothly during busy hours. The self-serve kiosk was designed to let walk-in customers skip the cashier line and order directly in-store, improving efficiency and alleviating counter congestion. Both the app and kiosk were built with a clean, modular interface that emphasizes clarity, speed, and brand consistency across devices. Following the success of the California Sandwiches rollout, we templated and reskinned the system to support additional restaurant brands, creating a scalable platform adaptable to multiple brands within the network.
