As the lead graphic designer for Blue Jays Central, I was responsible for delivering real-time graphics support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Working from pre-show rundowns and close collaboration with producers, I translated editorial direction into on-air graphics, designing and deploying visuals on the fly using established broadcast templates and systems. This required quick decision-making, precision, and a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and broadcast standards.
Beyond execution, I ensured consistency across all in-show graphics while adapting content in real time to reflect evolving narratives and game developments. The result was a seamless integration of design and storytelling, enhancing the clarity, energy, and professionalism of the live broadcast.
